We have been engaged in renewable energy and solar power, since 1992. The first Fronius inverter, the “Sunrise”, was developed in 1995, marking the birth of the Fronius Solar Energy division. The third and youngest of the three Fronius divisions was responsible for a company revolution in 2001. The first Fronius PV system was installed on the roof of the former production site in Austira, the Fronius IG came into being. This was an immense, innovative leap forward in the field of inverters and solar energy. For the first time plug-in cards were used to upgrade the device with a Wi-Fi module giving it a future-proof feature that had never before been possible.
